About

Growing up in northwest Ireland near Yeats Country, I was steeped in language — not just in books, but in the rhythm of conversation, the weight of well-chosen words. It was my mother, a poet, who taught me to really listen. When she read Goodnight Moon, she didn’t simply run through the pages but gave each word space to land. I’d ask her, eyes closed, to repeat lines, captivated by the wat they fell on my ears. It was this nightly ritual, ultimately, that became the foundation of how I write, edit, and help others shape their words with intention.

Now, nearly a decade into life on the American East Coast, I hold an honors degree in English Literature with a focus in Media, Rhetoric, and Communication from Connecticut College, where I graduated cum laude with distinction. As a three-year editor for The College Voice, I co-founded the publication’s first podcast and was honored with the Connecticut College Award for Excellence in Journalism (2023).

At Woodstock Community Trust, I lead marketing and development initiatives to support local workers navigating the region’s rising cost of living. I’m also a freelance writer and editor, with front-page bylines in the Valley News and editorial work for acclaimed nonfiction author Julia Cooke. In my free time, you might find me writing poetry or short stories, likely with my local writing group, or block-printing.

With experience spanning nonprofit coordination, editorial marketing, grant writing, and community engagement, I’m now seeking new opportunities in Boston, MA. If you’re looking for a v hard-working communicator who brings warmth, precision, and creativity to every project, let’s connect!
